Dinner at Bottega Louie |
our weekend countdown
we had a lovely dinner at Bottega Louie. we got there at FIVE-THIRTY which meant we only had to wait FIVE minutes - yay. i was always a little confused why a french restaurant has a menu filled with italian cuisine, but hey i'm not complaining. we left dinner with FIVE colorful macaroons.
we watched ONE HUNDRED AND FOUR (or so) amazing musicians of LA Phil perform Mahler's FIFTH symphony. One of these days we will catch Mahler's EIGTH symphony of THOUSANDS. (woa)
we pranced around UCLA campus because we had a few hours to kill before our movie. i got to see the new engineering FOUR building - fancy schmancy.
we saw Cloud Atlas which lasted ONE HUNDRED AND SIXTY FOUR minutes. I loved it. Husband not so much. (on a side note: if we could, we would both marry Tom Hanks. he's so incredibly talented)
