Paper Architect

Lebbeus Woods passed away yesterday at age 72. He's a visionary and an influential architect of our time. Lebbeus Woods worked mainly with drawings because he focused his work on theory and experimental architecture. I remember seeing his drawings for the first time my first year in architecture school; it was set as my friends desktop screen. I couldn't stop staring at it. The drawings were so intricate, so spatial and so fantastical. It was the first time I understood the value and importance of a paper architect - someone who investigates and pushes the limits of architecture by suspending the physical limitation of architecture. I hope these captures your eyes as well. Here are some of my favorites.
